Hybrid Hot Water Tank – Complete Kit
Everything you need for hot water in your Troopy, in one package. The complete Hybrid kit combines our Hybrid hot water tank with the utility panel, plumbing, wiring, switches, heat exchanger and water level senders built to go with it.
About the Hybrid tank:
The Hybrid is a hot water system that doesn't take up any of your interior space. It's two stainless tanks bolted together under the Troopy: a 70L cold water tank and an insulated 15L hot water tank, for around 85L combined.
-Heats with an element that runs on 12, 24 or 48V, and can be switched on while driving or parked at camp
-A digital temperature controller keeps the water at the temperature you set
-The hot tank sits next to the exhaust, which adds extra heat while you drive
-The heat exchanger heats the water from 20°C to 50°C in around 15 minutes using engine heat, with no 12V power
-WEMA senders give you water level readings for both the hot and cold sides
-A transfer valve lets you refill the hot side from the cold side
-Bolts to the body from underneath, with no access needed inside the vehicle
-Fits with the 3.5" Torqit exhaust

-This kit is shipped on a small pallet and will need to be delivered to either a Depot or business with a forklift. (deliveries will be to the closest depot to your shipping location unless specified otherwise).

Our story
G'day Legends. My names Kyle and I am the owner, designer and fabricator of Ark Earth Products.
I am a very passionate Troopy owner and outback explorer.
When did my passion for Troopies come about? Well after owning a few different 4wds, I purchased my first Troopy in 2020 and as we all know the feeling it was love at first sight.
Following the purchase we decked out the Troopy and hit the road.
Since then we have travelled across remote desert tracks throughout the red centre.
Conquered the mighty telegraph track wheel lifting all the way to the tip of Queensland.
Rock hopped our way through the glass house mountains and the Victorian high country.
Burnt many miles of corrugations in the NT, up through Arnhem land and throughout many of the remote national parks.
And of course being locals of the great west coast. We have extensively covered WA from coast to coast and throughout the desert.
It would be safe to say our Troopy has done some miles. Upwards of 60,000kms of off-road tracks alone and we have spent more then 730nights sleeping in the back of our Troopy, so its fair to say we have some experience when it comes to Trooping around Australia.
What about Ark Earth?
Well Ark Earth was eventually born when we settled back in Perth.
Whats the plan?
As a business we want to create a place/store where fellow Troopy enthusiasts can come and purchase well designed and well executed products which will enhance thier travel experience.
Our goal is to build our business around the values and needs of our great TOA community.
